The Bodmin Wassailers donated the results of their January 2016 Wassail which was £225.

We) supplied refreshments for Snowdrop Sunday at Pencarrow in February raising around £700 – this included a very generous donation of £500 from Pencarrow from their ‘gate’ collection.

We held a Soup & Dessert lunch at Wadebridge Town Hall, also in February, raising around £200.

We were declared Wadebridge Social Club’s Charity of the year during which they put on three Bingo Sessions, led four walks, had collection tins on their counters and did a Bed Push from Padstow to Wadebridge – by the end of the year they had raised over £4,500 for us! A magnificent achievement.

Sponsored walk from Rock around Polzeath and Roserrow led by Vic Luke of Wadebridge Social Club in March’16 raising £1,000.

We joined with the Friends of St Petrocs Church in April ’16 to supply the refreshments, light lunches and teas for Bodmin Nursery Spring Festival raising £1,800 shared between the two charities. We are very grateful to Mark and Linda Lawlor, owners of the Nursery, for allowing us to raise funds in this way.

We have been represented with a stand at Wadebridge ‘Wheels’ event for the past 5 years and Wadebridge Rotary Club have been exceedingly generous to us in that time; this year they donated £1,000.

We had an information stand at St Breward Fete in July.

We held a Soup and Dessert Lunch in Bodmin Methodist Church in October raising £304.

Sponsored walk in October from Lerryn to St Winnow, led, again by Vic Luke, raised around £300.

A Fashion Show at M & Co in Bodmin in November 2016 raised nearly £600.

Kate Holland did a cycle ride through Death Valley in Nevada in November in memory of her father who passed away on Harbour Ward. She raised £2,400 to be shared with Macmillan Cancer Care
